The sunsets are stunning, the energy of the youthful vacationers
(including many backpackers) give the town a festive atmosphere,
and ther are enclaves of the real Bali down many a narrow,
quiet street.
Accomodation ranges from international hotels to home-stays.
The vilage abounds with restaurants, shops, discotheques
and other facilities.
It is easier to find regular performances of Balinese music
and dance than anythere else in Bali. Some performances
are staged nightly.
The village is ideal for meeting and mixing with other people,
locals as well as visitors from around the world.
