400,000 inhabitants, but Denpasar is worth a trip to visit
museums, markets and monuments. |

The capital city of Bali has many community temples called
"pura". One is the Museum called Pura Jagatnatha
wihich is dedicated to the supreme God.
Besides that, Denpasar is an excellent place for shopping.
The government supervised "Sanggraha Kriya Asta"
for example offers a wide variety of handicraft and work
of art.
If you visit Denpasar between June and July, don't miss
the art festival "Werdi Budaya"
with performances, exhibitions, arts contests and so on.
